Madonna International Print Exchange heading to Quincy University

Greetings, my fellow printmakers, Ochosi Editions is please to announce that a combination of the 1st and 2nd Madonna International Print Exchanges (60 works) will be sent this week to Quincy University, in Quincy, Illinois, where they will be on display starting in March 10th.The exhibit will be held at the Gray Gallery, located in the university's Brenner Library. If you are in the area, drop by. The gallery is coordinated by Professor and internationally renown printmaker, Bob Mejer. Thanks Bob, for bringing these terrific works to western Illinois!

Portraiture of the 21st century exhibit at Benedictine University thru 12/30

Madonna International Print Exchange holiday exhibit in South Bend

2nd International Madonna Print Exchange closes at Brannigan Cultural Center on June 30

Hello everyone, The Brannigan Cultural center, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, will be showing the International Madonna Print Exchange through June 30th. If you have a chance to go see it, do drop by. Over 50 of the images are displayed there. Rumors are beginning to rumble that the show will travel to Texas and Illinois soon. I will keep you posted on developments as they occur. In the meantime, if you or someone you know is working on photography- or photo-based images, tell them about our next call for entries "Portraiture in the 21st Century". The competition will be juried by Ellen Wallenstein of New York. Links for it are in the post before this one, and if you email me I can send you a prospectus. 2nd Intl. Madonna Print Exchange coming exhibitions!

Dear Madonna Print Suite artists, I am happy to report that the current 2nd Intl. Madonna Print Exchange is on display at Benedictine University, (5700 College Rd., Lisle, IL) through the end of March. It is in Kindlon Hall, 1st floor, north. Upcoming after that will be a combination of the artists from the first and second suites. That show will travel to the Brannigan Cultural Center, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. May 2 - June 28, 2014. I will go give a talk about the exhibit and give a print demonstration to the good folks out in Las Cruces as a part of the exhibit's programming. Next, a combination of the first and second suite artists will also travel to San Salvador for an exhibit at La Alianza Francesa, starting June 5th. More details as that develops.
